Apollo Power Enhances Gopal Foundation School Safety and Expands Play Area by Relocating the 66 kV EHT Line

Overview: Gopal Foundation faced a significant safety challenge with a 66kV Extra High Tension (EHT) power line traversing its site. Due to safety concerns, the relocation of the EHT line was deemed necessary to ensure the well-being of the school community.

Location: Kanakpura Road, Bangalore

Work Done by Apollo:

  • We took charge of the project, beginning with a thorough site assessment to map the exact routes and potential impact zones of the 66 kV power lines.
  • Developed engineering designs and collaborated with KPTCL to implement modifications to accommodate the expansion.
  • Engaged with KPTCL and obtained the necessary approvals.
  • The rerouting was completed with the installation of 6 lattice towers accommodating multiple 66kV circuits

Our Achievement:

As a result, more than 2 acres of land were freed up, which was then transformed into a vibrant play area, significantly enhancing the overall quality of life for the school’s students.
