Assisted SAP Labs in Overcoming Power Line Challenges for R&D Center Expansion

Overview: SAP Labs operates a prominent R&D center in Whitefield, focusing on innovation and technology development. The center planned to expand its office infrastructure by adding two additional towers to accommodate growth and operational needs. The expansion was hindered by the presence of separate 66 kV and 220 kV power lines traversing the premises. These high-voltage lines posed significant challenges and required strategic management to facilitate the expansion while ensuring safety and compliance.

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Work Done by Apollo:

  • Conducted a thorough site assessment to map the exact routes and potential impact zones of the 66 kV and 220 kV power lines.
  • Developed engineering designs and implemented modifications to accommodate the expansion.
  • Engaged with regulatory authorities and obtained the necessary approvals.
  • Completed the entire re-routing with multi-circuit, multi-voltage towers accommodating 66 kV and 220 kV circuits.

Our Achievement:

  • Successfully conserved the equivalent of two blocks of space through efficient planning and utilization.
